Parikkala Race Shifts to Kemijärvi for its Original Schedule 1.-2.2.2020

The risks of canceling the races in Parikkala, even when using the fallback day, are too high, as the weather forecasts for the coming weeks do not seem to promise significantly colder air, much less the expected snowfall. Statistics show that normally in the Parikkala area, more than half of the winter snowfall falls before mid-January, which means a few centimeters this winter ...

Our top priority is to secure the World Championships. Huge thanks to the Kärkikuntien Snowmobile Club and the Kemijärvi Snowmobile Association for their flexible and extremely quick decision making in difficult weather conditions! Such flexibility and open-mindedness are needed
